One participant in our 2009 August Premiere was Landry Bender from Phoenix, Arizona. It was at this event that she made an impression on many talent agents in attendance and signed with Jamie Malone, a talent manager with MC Talent. Landry began going out on auditions and within one year she appeared in four commercials and also co-starred with Jonah hill in the 20th Century Fox Film The Sitter.
Landry came back to Premiere in April 2011, which has held at Walt Disney World in Orlando, to talk about her experiences in film and television with Premiere Talent. Landry’s mom, Amy Bender, also gave a review of Landry’s experiences onstage and shared advice with the parents in attendance. Premiere CEO Michael David Palance describes the experience, “It was inspiring to stand onstage with Landry in Orlando. Every so often we will find ourselves in the presence of a natural performer and Landry is definitely one of them.”
In the following year Landry was cast in the role of “Cleo” on the Disney XD sitcom “Crash and Bernstein.” She is currently involved in her second season on the hit Disney television series. In addition to her work on “Crash and Bernstein,” she recently performed the voice of the character “Little Sister” on the animated Disney Junior series “Jake and the Never Land Pirates.” Congratulations Landry! We are proud to have worked with you as a Premiere talent.
